How you cancel depends on who bills you. Look at your billing email or bank statement:

How to Cancel Canva Pro on the Web or Desktop App

- On the homepage, select your account profile to open the menu.
- Select Settings, then go to Billing.
- On your plan, select Cancel plan, then Continue cancellation.
- Choose a reason, select Continue cancellation again and, if you like, tell Canva why you’re leaving.

Canva emails you a confirmation when the plan is cancelled. If no email arrives, the cancellation may not have gone through, so repeat the steps. The same steps work for Canva Pro, Pro Lite, Teams and Business plans you pay for directly.

Pausing isn’t available for App Store subscriptions. Annual plans can only be paused when there are less than two months left before renewal.
What Happens After You Cancel Canva Pro?
- No more charges: future payments stop.
- Pro until the end of the period: you keep paid features until your current billing period ends.
- Your designs stay: all designs remain in your account on Canva Free, and the account stays active.
- Affinity stays free: you can keep using Affinity with your Canva account.
Cancelling a Teams or Business plan: members lose paid features at the end of the billing period, but designs, Brand Kit content and shared folders stay on Canva Free, and the team admin stays the owner. Canva warns that cancelling Canva Teams is permanent: you can’t resubscribe to Teams later, so consider switching to Canva Business if you might want a team plan again.

Can You Get a Refund From Canva?
Usually not. Canva’s help center says subscriptions generally aren’t refundable under its Terms of Use, although it reviews every request. If a refund is approved, it takes about 5 to 10 business days to reach a credit card, 3 to 5 for PayPal and up to 20 for other payment methods. How to Cancel a Canva Pro Free Trial
Cancel a trial the same way as a paid plan: through Settings > Billing if you started it on Canva, or through the App Store or Google Play if you started it in the app. Do it at least a day before the trial ends. Canva’s billing runs on UTC, so depending on your time zone, the first charge can appear a day earlier than you expect.
